Lin Dan

Lin Dan (born October 14, 1983, in Longyan, Fujian province) is a men's singles badminton player from Fujian, the People's Republic of China. Since 2004, Lin had been ranked number 1 in the world for two years. As of October 2006, Lin Dan had regained his ranking as #1 in the world, after a short period of being ranked behind Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia.
In 2006, he won against Bao Chunlai in the finals of the 2006 World Badminton Championships held in Madrid, Spain. In 2005, Lin Dan had defeated Bao in three different Chinese championships: the China Masters, China National Games, and Hong Kong Open.


Peter Gade


Peter Gade (born December 14, 1976) Peter Gade Christensen is a professional badminton player from Terndrup, Denmark.
Gade Peter has made his mark in badminton history through his All England Open Badminton Championships singles title in 1999 and his four European Championships crowns in the men's single eve0nt. With Gade's sixteen Grand-Prix titles, he has become one of the most successful players of all time. He remains very active on the international circuit. On June 22, 2006, Gade briefly recaptured the #1 spot in the world rankings. This was achieved after winning the Singapore Open and reaching the quarter-final at the Malaysia Open.He reached the semi-final at the 2006 All-England Open Championships.
Gade is known for fast attacks, smooth footwork, constant pressure and deceptive shots. At the club level he plays for Team Aarhus.


Prakash Padukone


Prakash Padukone (born June 10, 1955) is a famous badminton player from Karnataka, India.
Prakash,  as every Indian sports lover would fondly remember, is the greatest Badminton player Indian has produced. He was the National Champion from 1971 to 1979, Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist in 1978, Winner of the first Open Prize Money Tournament in Badminton, i.e. the British Masters in 1979, All England Champion in 1980, Winner of the World Cup in 1981 &  was ranked No. 1 in the World in 1980-81.
